KEMS opens with Buster Williams' "Batuki" and moves through Blu, KRS-One, the Koichi Matsukaze Trio, Ornette Coleman, and Prefuse 73 before landing on Patrice Rushen's "Haven't You Heard" and a closing run that reaches Danny Brown.
rap79 takes the back half into dub and reggae with Rockers All-Stars and The Aggravators, then on through Motor City Drum Ensemble, Joy Division, Cleaners From Venus, and the Eraldo Volonte Quartet, closing out with Ayalew Mesfin and Gloria Ann Taylor's "Jolene".
