Above The Clouds Radio is an independent, all-vinyl, free form radio show broadcasting live from Found Sound Records in North Miami, Florida. Every Saturday, 3 to 5pm Eastern — and streaming 24/7.

The show started in 2015 with DJ KEMS (@dj_kems) and Lumin (@oddinhuman) — two amigos, their record collections, and a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. Lumin held it down through the first 100 episodes before stepping away. KEMS kept rocking solo until rap79 opened Found Sound Records in December 2019, and the show found its permanent home.

No files, no algorithms, no USB drives. 470 episodes over ten years, a document of friends playing and listening to records. Some pops, maybe a sprinkling of clicks, but the sets travel to every corner of the musical map and still end up at home every single time.

Co-founder of Above The Clouds Radio. KEMS plays from a personal collection of over 6,000 records accumulated over nearly 30 years — one of the most genuinely diverse musical tastes you'll encounter. His sets go places most DJs wouldn't think to go. He relocated in 2026 but his sessions are still part of the Saturday broadcast.
